Our Story
Key Performance Training began in 2017 and was created because of a growing need for high-quality, regulated forklift training in Swindon.
Swindon has always had so many warehouse, distribution, and logistics companies, and many of them were struggling to meet the demands of their workload.
Local recruitment companies and businesses alike were always struggling to find trained, certified forklift operators.
It was therefore the right time to create an accredited training centre in which both new and experienced operators could either learn or renew their certification, in a dedicated space.
Starting out in Mr Shifter, the highly rated removal and storage company in Headlands Trading Estate, we created a top-class training centre with both practical training areas and classrooms.
This enabled us to offer a range of courses designed to both bridge the skills gap and help our customers meet their regulatory training requirements under the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). We also offered First Aid, Fire Marshal, Manual Handling and Health and Safety training– all necessary requirements under UK law.
We’ve enabled many businesses to unlock the potential in their workforce and ensured that our delegates are some of the safest and most efficient in the country.
It has been a fantastic journey to help people unlock their potential and grow their careers, and a real privilege to work with and assist our customers over the years.
