Course Introduction

Which course is right for me?

 

  • The reach lift truck is predominantly used in warehouse aisles.
  • This truck is driven side on, with your forks to the side of you.
  • Our courses will teach you how to operate them in a safe and legal way.
  •  All our RTITB Accredited courses confirm to the HSE guideance, and all certification is valid for three years.

    • Novice courses – for new operators with no driving experience
    • Experienced courses – for those who’ve had some basic training before but need formal training or more time on the truck
    • Conversion courses – for operators who have an existing certificate on a different truck
    • Refresher courses – for operators who’s certificates are running out / have just run out

Course Overviews

A novice course is for operators with no experience.

You will be taught everything you need to know in order to pass pre-check, theory and practical tests at the end of the course.

This course will take between 3 – 5 days to complete, and is a mixture of classroom and practical training and assessment.

You will receive a forklift safety book and mock papers to help you pass your theory test.

Our accredited certificates are valid anywhere in the UK for three years.

We will also register you with NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme), so that you can access your training record at anytime.

An experienced course is for operators with experience of operating a truck, but who’ve had no formal training.

You will be taught everything you need to know in order to pass pre-check, theory and practical tests at the end of the course.

This course will take between 2 – 3 days to complete, and is a mixture of classroom and practical training and assessment.

You will receive a forklift safety book and mock papers to help you pass your theory test.

Our accredited certificates are valid anywhere in the UK for three years.

We will also register you with NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme), so that you can access your training record at anytime.

A conversion course is for operators who already have a certificate for one truck, but would like to learn another.

You will be taught everything you need to know in order to pass pre-check, theory and practical tests at the end of the course.

This course will take between 1 – 2 days to complete, and is a mixture of classroom and practical training and assessment.

Our accredited certificates are valid anywhere in the UK for three years.

We will also register you with NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme), so that you can access your training record at anytime.

A refresher course is for operators who have a certificate which is due to expire, or recently has.

You will be reminded of everything you need to know in order to pass pre-check, theory and practical tests at the end of the course.

This course will take 1 day to complete, and is a mixture of classroom and practical training and assessment.

Our accredited certificates are valid anywhere in the UK for three years.

We will also register you with NORS (National Operator Registration Scheme), so that you can access your training record at anytime.
