CPR + AED (Defibrillation) Course

Course Introduction

Who should attend?

  • A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. A person’s chance of survival falls by about 10% for each minute that passes without defibrillation.
  • The risk of death can be reduced if you have a defibrillator in your workplace and know how to use it.
  • If you already have a defibrillator, it is important that your employees know where it is.
  • Our one-day Level 2 CPR and AED (Defibrillation) course is a nationally recognised training course (RQF) and is Ofqual regulated
  • The syllabus for this course meets the HSE and Resuscitation Council (UK) training recommendations for use of AEDs in the work place.

    • Defibrillators are very simple to operate and no previous training is required to attend this practical course.
    • It will enable you to use the AED competently and with confidence.
    • Not only does this course deal with the use of an AED, but it also includes vital training in basic life support including resuscitation.
