Celebrating Our 6-year Anniversary!

Six years ago, on 12th March 2018, we proudly completed our very first training courses, a Counterbalance and Reach truck refresher for one person.

Since then, we’ve gone on to help over 700 people achieve another 1000+ certificates in a huge variety of courses, across the regulated training spectrum!

First Aid Icon

We’ve helped 105 separate businesses and charities ensure they are meeting their legal obligations and we’ve helped 254 private individuals gain new certificates and keep their own certification and qualifications up to date.

But more than that, we hope we’ve made a real difference along the way.  By working closely with some charities and agencies, we’ve been able to help people who have found themselves in a tough spot and just need a little help to lift them back up.  We believe that everyone has the right to employment, and if you are willing to learn, then we are willing to help you do that. Through our partnerships, we’ve helped lots of people turn their lives around, and we’ve helped provide them with dignity, opportunity and set them on the first step towards a rewarding career.

It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege working alongside the people we’ve worked with over the last six years, and we hope that if you’ve attended a course with us, we’ve been able to make your working life just that little bit more enjoyable, or we’ve played our part in giving you a helping hand just when you needed it.

We are really looking forward to the next six years – hopefully they will bring us more opportunities to help even more people achieve their training goals.

Are you confident that your PUWER responsibilities are covered?

Are you confident that your PUWER responsibilties are covered?

When a material handling equipment incident happens, often it’s operators that are held to account, with poor training taking the blame. However, incidents often occur as a result of poor supervision and management, so to reduce risks, those in these senior roles need to be correctly trained too.

That is why it is a legal requirement under The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) that managers and supervisors of material handling equipment are adequately trained.

First Aid Icon

If you have these responsibilities, then we have a great solution available that’s quick, convenient and affordable to ensure your legal responsibilities are covered.

The RTITB Managing and Supervising MHE Operations eLearning course is a fantastic course for anyone looking to develop into a managerial or supervisory role within an MHE environment, and for those already in the role looking to improve their understanding of their duties.  It can be completed in a day, accessed on mobile devices, and will ensure you and your business are safe and compliant.

Managers and Supervisors will feel confident of their abilities within hours of successfully completing this online training, expertly developed and frequently updated.

Broken down into 6 sections, staff can spread the training over several days, thus assisting warehouse managers and site managers minimise the delays or disruptions to your operation.

At the end of the course content (approximately 3 – 4 hours), there is an end of course assessment, and upon successful completion of the eLearning, candidates will receive a verified qualification.

All of this for under £65 plus VAT per person, with discounts available for over 20 people, thus making this great value for money.

International Women’s Day

Friday 8th March 2024

It’s International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March, so we wanted to do something to celebrate this great event.

There is still a huge demand for forklift drivers at the moment, and we’ve previously talked about the advantages to everyone in Logistics and Supply Chains if we can encourage more women into these roles – see our blog

Therefore, to support this effort, we’re hosting our next Forklift Friday on the same day – open to Ladies Only.

This will be an opportunity to speak to a trainer, discuss any requirements they might have, and to try forklift driving – completely free and with no obligation.

Our hope is that once our ladies have discovered the joy of driving a forklift, they will be encouraged to try it as a career.

So with that in mind, any woman who attends will be offered a 20% discount off our normal forklift course prices!*

For more information about Forklift Friday and how this can help you on the next step in your career, please see here

*T&C’s apply – contact us for full details.
